The morphology of Napoli is composed of struggles littered with beauty. Looming in the distance of its core is the volcanic zone of Vesuvius which is beautiful in sight yet a dangerous threat. As you delve into the city, loosing sight of the crater, you can find traces of its modern day struggles ranging from WWII bombardments, Mafia territorial control, the 1980 earthquake as well as the 2011 garbage crisis. All that is quickly forgotten with the centers stunning Neapolitan baroque details.

Vaulted Kaleidoscope
Lecce is nothing short of a Baroque architectural gem. Walking its via's will have you admiring the soft yellow intricate facades that seem to be carved out of butter. The city has taken this architectural style to another level, so much so, that the facade of Santa Croce was described by Marchese Grimaldi as having been carved by a lunatic immersed in a nightmare.
