One of the challenges since entering the fine-art world was determining how to present my work. As a photographer, my go to recipe is a classic black frame and white mat. What I love about this combination is that it places the primary focus on the print. I have made a point to always frame my mid to large format prints, but what about my small format work? In the past, I avoided framing, that is until recent.
It brings me great pleasure to introduce to you my mini photographic print collection. Each piece starts with a 4x6”print surrounded by an acid free, crisp white 2” border. It is then carefully layered behind a protective glass, reducing UV exposure. Next is a pencil thin aluminum black frame, 1/4” thick. The end result is a beautiful mini photographic print sized at 8x10” and ready to hang.
Below, you will find a few from that collection that might be on display at an art fair near you. Enjoy!
